Paul and Marielle

Marielle retired last December and is enjoying herself.  Although I do not retire until May 2015 my last day at work is Wednesday this week.  It was not Freedom Fifty-Five but we are in good health and hope to make the most of our time together. The job lists are long!  One of our favourite activities is travel.  Guess where we went this year from the attached photos?  Next year we plan trips spread over five months.  You may just see us in your neck of the woods.

Family

The boys (men) are all grown up and have left the nest.  Benoit is studying history at the University of Montreal, Francois is a full fledged physiotherapist working in Moncton, New Brunswick, and Jean-Philippe has a condominium not far from the casino where he works.  Thank goodness we have Facetime and Skype to keep in contact with them.

Introduction

It seems I didn't do a retrospective for 2013.  I guess I was too excited about my posts to Facebook however, I know many of you don't have Facebook so I have started up again.  2013 was another big year for us of exciting travels, an empty nest, the end of work, fabulous times with friends, and starting a new retirement life together.
